Crafted by Unger Mahns Architecture, this four bedroom, three bathroom shore-style colonial completed construction in 2016. Located on a lagoon, the house has direct access to the bay by way of boat, and is less than a half mile from the ocean.
The home’s simple exterior is complemented by the use of cedar impressions as well as covered porches in both the front and rear of the home. The true character of the home comes apparent inside, thanks to the exquisite detail and craftsmanship of our trusted subcontractors.
Walking in from the second level main entrance, the homeowner is welcomed by stained white-oak hardwood flooring, providing a stunning contrast to the neutral colors of the Benjamin Moore paint and white double-hung Andersen windows. However, the fine details of the home is where this project shines.
Baseboards and crown moulding add a touch of character to each room of the house. Each bathroom finds a unique sense of self thanks to the custom tile work that is completed in each. Aside from walk-in showers with subway tiling and granite countertops, beadboard wainscoting provides the finishing touch on these impressive bathrooms.
The kitchen features stainless steel appliances as well as granite countertops. However at Milano Builders, our favorite part of the kitchen is the custom cabinetry that we recommend. Homeowners work closely with our trusted Lancaster, Pennsylvania based cabinetmaker who takes pride in providing our clients with high-quality, hand-crafted products. A sense of elegant simplicity has been achieved in this kitchen, with fine details in the cabinetry that bolster this design.
