Milano Builders started over thirty five years ago with four brothers in a small office in Brick, NJ but their construction experience began decades prior. Every summer once school let out their father, Michael Anthony Milano, involved his sons in his current projects. They spent many hot days in the sun building the homes they lived in, collecting recycling in the back of his pickup truck, and campaigning for funds for the annual cancer crusade. Unfortunately, their father passed at the young age of 45 but his strong work ethic and morals had already spread to his children. A few years later after their mother passed away and Greg had graduated college, Milano Builders was founded.
The beginning.
Michael, Mark, Greg, and Steven began their company with small projects mostly in Brick and other towns in Ocean County. They worked on the expansion of the Police Athletic League building dedicated to their father, built decks and additions, and continued the tradition of building every house they lived in. After years of hard work they built the business to become one of Ocean and Monmouth County’s premier home builders. Over time, Michael and Mark left to build their own careers with Mark excelling in tech and Michael running the Milano Group under Diane Turton Realtors.
Today, Greg lives in Tinton Falls with his wife Edie. His daughters Mikaela and Makenzie are out of the house but they share a family dinner at their restaurant 26 West on the Navesink every week. In the little time he is not working, Greg enjoys golfing, giving his grand-dogs table scraps, and vacationing in Myrtle Beach or Disney.
Steven resides in Toms River with his three sons, Christian, Zach, and Steven Paul. Zachary is following in Steven’s footsteps as a project manager at MB while Christian and Steven Paul have paved their own paths in finance and music. While Steven’s days of coaching his sons rec basketball are over he still enjoys golfing, a nice glass of bourbon, and a good cigar.
